The College of Tourism and Hospitality organized a field visit for its students to Taj Al Wajh Hotel as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen practical learning and connect academic coursework with the realities of the tourism and hospitality industry.
During the visit, the students observed the hotel’s workflow and learned about the various operational departments, including reception, guest services, housekeeping, and event management. They also received an explanation of the quality standards and customer service practices followed to ensure an outstanding hospitality experience.
The students also listened to a presentation by the hotel staff about the skills required in the job market, as well as the available training and development opportunities. This contributed to broadening their professional understanding and enhancing their readiness to confidently and efficiently enter the tourism work environment.
This visit comes as part of the College of Tourism and Hospitality’s commitment to building effective partnerships with private sector establishments and enabling students to gain field experience that helps refine their skills and support their future professional careers.
