The College of Tourism and Hospitality organized a training workshop titled “Fundamentals of Barista Art” with the aim of developing students’ coffee preparation skills and introducing them to the basics of working in cafés and the hospitality field, within a practical training environment aligned with labor market needs.

The workshop included an explanation of the fundamentals of coffee preparation, how to use barista tools, and an introduction to different types of hot beverages and how to serve them professionally. It also featured hands-on practice that enabled students to directly apply the skills they learned.

The workshop witnessed strong engagement from students interested in the hospitality field, who expressed their benefit from the training content and practical experience provided.

The workshop also highlighted the importance of professional skills in the hospitality sector and their role in improving service quality and enhancing job opportunities in cafés and restaurants.

This workshop comes as part of the College of Tourism and Hospitality’s efforts to develop students’ practical skills and prepare them to work efficiently in various tourism and hospitality fields.
