The Graduate Studies Unit is responsible for the following tasks:
1. Preparing strategic plans for graduate programs in alignment with the needs of society and the labor market in the tourism and hospitality sector, and contributing to the preparation of qualified national cadres and distinguished researchers.
2. Developing recommendations for the periodic improvement and updating of graduate programs in accordance with national and international quality and academic accreditation standards.
3. Working on the development of academic, administrative, and technical infrastructure supporting graduate programs to enhance the quality of teaching and research processes.
4. Monitoring the implementation of quality standards and compliance with graduate studies regulations and related instructions.
5. Following up on performance indicators of graduate programs and submitting necessary development recommendations.
6. Coordinating admission tests and personal interviews for applicants in collaboration with academic departments.
7. Coordinating with academic departments regarding graduate student procedures and transactions, including registration, deferment, withdrawal, transfer, thesis defense, and other related processes.
8. Providing proposals that contribute to improving the academic and administrative performance of graduate programs within the College.
9. Preparing periodic reports on the Unit’s activities, including achievements, performance indicators, challenges, and recommendations, and submitting them quarterly to the Dean of the College.
10. Carrying out any tasks assigned by the Dean of the College.
