Duties and Responsibilities of the Vice Deanship for the Female Section

The Vice Deanship for the Female Section is responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Managing administrative, financial, and academic affairs of the Female Students Section within the College.
  2. Supervising administrative units and committees associated with the Vice Deanship, proposing improvements to enhance their performance, ensuring the provision of necessary resources, and applying monitoring, guidance, and follow-up procedures within delegated authority to ensure high performance standards.
  3. Following up on the implementation of decisions issued by the University Council, the University President, the College Council, and other relevant administrative regulations and circulars.
  4. Preparing necessary reports on the administrative and academic performance of the Female Students Section and submitting them to the Dean of the College.
  5. Taking all necessary actions to achieve the objectives of the University’s strategic plan within the scope of the Vice Deanship’s responsibilities.
  6. Coordinating with the Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs, the Vice Deanship for Graduate Studies and Development, and other relevant units to prepare the College’s strategic plan and monitor its implementation after approval.
  7. Preparing operational plans for the Female Students Section and its academic departments and ensuring their implementation after approval.
  8. Implementing measures to improve spending efficiency and rationalize the consumption of energy and water in facilities 
  9. Overseeing the safety of facilities, occupational health and safety procedures, and emergency and disaster management plans within the Female Students Section.
  10. Maintaining and safeguarding the facilities and assets of the Female Students Section and following up on their maintenance.
  11. Updating Vice Deanship information on the official University website.
  12. Supervising faculty members and staff in the Female Students Section and ensuring their compliance with job responsibilities and duties.
  13. Monitoring the academic process to ensure proper implementation of academic programs according to approved regulations and ensuring compliance by faculty and students with applicable rules and instructions.
  14. Supervising teaching load distribution among female faculty members and equivalent staff.
  15. Overseeing admission procedures for new and transferred female students, course registration, and ensuring timely completion of all academic procedures according to the academic calendar and regulations, while improving student services and addressing student issues.
  16. Monitoring midterm and final examinations to ensure compliance with approved schedules and academic regulations.
  17. Supervising curricular and extracurricular student activities for female students.
  18. Overseeing student guidance and counseling programs (psychological, social, and career guidance).
  19. Supervising the issuance of informational brochures and publications related to the Female Students Section.
  20. Following up on scholarship and training procedures for female staff and ensuring implementation of approved training plans.
  21. Monitoring graduate programs within the Female Students Section in accordance with approved regulations.
  22. Supervising seminars, workshops, and academic events held in the Female Students Section.
  23. Following up on quality assurance and accreditation projects and ensuring their completion within deadlines and budget.
  24. Ensuring compliance with quality and accreditation standards across academic departments.
  25. Promoting a culture of excellence, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement among students, faculty, and staff, and ensuring a sustainable learning environment.
  26. Submitting training needs and professional development requirements to improve academic and administrative performance.
  27. Following up on the appointment of Saudi female faculty members in coordination with relevant committees and university bodies.
  28. Monitoring faculty members’ compliance with their academic and professional duties.
  29. Nominating external adjunct instructors and ensuring their commitment to teaching responsibilities.
  30. Performing any additional responsibilities assigned by the University Council, the University President, or delegated by the College Council.
