Advisory Committee Responsibilities
Advisory committees work to organize and enhance the capabilities and quality of colleges, while strengthening their impact, through the following contributions:
1. Providing developmental recommendations regarding the college’s strategic plan and the executive plans of its academic programs in the areas of education, scientific research, and community service, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
2. Offering developmental recommendations concerning academic programs and their study plans, and providing guidance on their improvement in accordance with the latest professional standards, labor market aspirations, and evaluation outcomes.
3. Reviewing annual program reports, including beneficiary survey results, learning outcomes assessment results, teaching strategies and assessment methods, and key performance indicators, while highlighting opportunities for improvement, recommendations, and implementation plans contained therein.
4. Discussing field experience reports and proposing solutions to identified improvement opportunities in order to achieve excellence in professional practice.
5. Examining the extent to which the skills possessed by graduates of academic programs align with the needs of various employment sectors, in light of developments in the field of specialization and community needs.
6. Contributing to the establishment of agreements, memoranda of understanding, and collaborative partnerships with academic institutions, industry organizations, and research centers.
7. Contributing to building relationships with employers and recruitment entities to engage students in volunteer work programs that provide practical experience and opportunities for part-time employment.
8. Contributing to introducing various business sectors to the college, its academic programs, and its capabilities in education, scientific research, and community service.
