The Academic Programmes and Study Plans Unit is responsible for the following tasks:
Monitor the implementation of approved academic plans and develop the necessary standards and templates to ensure proper implementation of study plans, curriculum content, and intended learning outcomes.
Work toward the continuous development and periodic updating of academic plans within departments to ensure alignment with labor market requirements.
Maintain records of all unit activities, including meeting minutes and related documentation, and provide the Head of the Unit with copies as needed.
Review matters referred to the Unit by the Dean of the College, complete related transactions, and undertake any additional tasks assigned to the Unit through the relevant Vice Dean.
Design and develop academic courses and curricula.
Enhance faculty members’ capabilities in course design and development, including the transformation of course content into electronic learning materials.
Provide the Dean of the College with a periodic report each semester covering all activities and achievements of the Unit.
