Based on the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which includes among its objectives bridging the gap between education outcomes and labor market requirements, and the necessity of adapting the education system to accommodate and develop human capabilities from the increasing number of high school graduates to meet the requirements of the labor market, and based on the approval of the Council of University Affairs at its fourth meeting on 9/14/1442 AH to amend the names of community colleges to the name of applied colleges.
