The University of Tabuk has paid attention to the participation of faculty members by ensuring the provision of the best services to highlight its scientific production through the participation of faculty members in local and international events, which leads to the exchange of experiences between researchers and to build bridges of communication and cultural and scientific diversity useful with different educational institutions around the world The Department of Conferences and Events also seeks to provide support, assistance and services to the bodies organizing conferences and events within the university to stand out in a manner befitting its place and leadership of the university, in addition to its role in the administrative organization represented in the requests of visiting professors and external speakers. The unit is linked administratively to the Vice Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. It is considered a link between the faculties of the university and the Ministry of Education.

Mission

Providing an appropriate environment for conferences and events held at the university, and helping all sectors of the university to organize conferences and events easily and easily.

Vision

Achieve leadership and distinction in organizing and implementing university conferences.

Objectives

We put our vision into action through a set of general objectives that guide our journey toward excellence. Through these objectives, we strive to achieve the highest standards of academic and research performance and community service, while fostering an inspiring educational environment and a vibrant university community.

First Objective

Supervising and following up requests to hold conferences and the like inside the university, working on completing its procedures, and assisting in obtaining official approvals for them.

Second Objective

Providing support and assistance to the bodies organizing conferences and the like.

Third Objective

Study the final reports submitted by the entity that held the event within the university, and set up a mechanism to benefit from the content of those reports.

Fourth Objective

Supervising and following up requests for attendance and participation of faculty members in conferences and the like, completing procedures, and obtaining the necessary approvals.

Fifth Objective

Examining the requests of visiting professors and external speakers and completing their procedures.

Sixth Objective

Following up on the reports of the scientific mission carried out by the faculty members who attended the scientific posts, and setting up an appropriate mechanism to benefit from them.

Seventh Objective

Preparing reports, and statistics on the unit and its achievements.

Eighth Objective

The tasks assigned to it and other tasks.
