I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Department of Biochemistry, and it is my pleasure to speak to you on behalf of the rest of my colleagues, members of the department, and on my own behalf, and I can not, at the outset, extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has contributed to the success of our distinguished section of the university administration, the deanship of the faculty, and the department’s staff members The faculty, technicians and administrators who had an effective and pioneering role in developing the department's outputs, whether in terms of the quality of teaching and learning or at the level of the department's research products and their diversity, such as basic medical biochemistry research, nanoscale and stem cells research, physical biochemistry research, and molecular chemistry research as well as serious pursuit And the continuous development of the department's educational and research laboratories and laboratories, the development of study programs and educational curricula in line with the quality and quality standards and with the requirements of the labor market, and we have made a commitment to ourselves, which is to always provide the best for our dear students and our female students, and we will continue to make more effort and race to extend the bridges of trust for them and prepare them educationally and educationally. Preparing scientifically qualified and practically trained graduates in the field of biochemistry.

Accomplishing advanced scientific research in biochemical fields such as immunity, toxicology, molecular biology, biotechnology, and biophysical chemistry.

Third Objective

Work as a house of expertise to provide scientific advice in modern scientific fields related to biochemistry.

Fourth Objective

Achieving the college and university goals and the 2030 vision by providing the labor market with qualified graduates in the field of biochemistry and its applications.

Fifth Objective

Community awareness in the field of biochemistry with regard to protecting society from diseases and various methods of protection using modern scientific methods and applications of biochemistry.
