وافق مجلس الجامعة في اجتماعه الخامس للعام (1433/1434) المنعقد بتاريخ يوم السبت (22/07/ 1434ه) الموافق (01/06/ 2013) والمعتمد من معالي وزير التعليم العالي بالخطاب رقم (1558/أ) وتاريخ (22/08/1434)، وبموجب قرار وزير التعليم العالي رقم (1558) تاريخ (22 / 8 /1434 هـ)، على إقرار برنامج ماجستير التربية في أصول التربية بالمقررات الدراسية والمشروع البحثي تابع لقسم التربية وعلم النفس في كلية التربية والآداب. برنامج ماجستير أصول التربية ضمن برامج قسم التربية وعلم النفس بكلية التربية والآداب، متاح للطلاب والطالبات.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a College of Education with a minimum overall grade of Good.
Applicants who graduated from non-Education colleges are required to complete the prescribed prerequisite courses.
Pass the program’s specialized admission examination.
Objectives
The University Council, at its fifth meeting for the 1433–1434 AH academic year, held on June 1, 2013 (22/07/1434 AH), approved the establishment of the Master of Education in Foundations of Education. The program was subsequently endorsed by the Minister of Higher Education under Decision No. 1558, dated 22/08/1434 AH.
The program follows a coursework and research project model and is offered by the Department of Education and Psychology within the College of Education and Arts.
The Master of Foundations of Education is one of the graduate programs offered by the Department of Education and Psychology and is available to both male and female students.
