Master's in English Language and Linguistics

1. The applicant must be a Saudi national; non-Saudi applicants must have an official postgraduate scholarship.

2. The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in English Language or English Literature.

3. The applicant must have obtained a minimum overall grade of Good in the bachelor’s degree from a Saudi university or from a recognized university. Degrees awarded outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must be officially equalized.

4. The applicant must have achieved a minimum score of (60) in the Post-Graduate General Aptitude Test (PGAT), provided that the test result is not more than five years old..

5. The applicant must have completed the bachelor’s degree through regular (full-time) study.

6. Approval from the employer is required if the applicant is currently employed.

Special Admission Requirements

1. The applicant must obtain a minimum score of (6.0) in the Academic IELTS test, or its equivalent in approved English language proficiency tests: STEP (83 or above) or TOEFL (60 or above).
