The Scholarships Department is one of the departments of the University Agency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the General Supervisor of Scholarships Management is directly related to the University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and it is concerned with managing the affairs of the university’s envoys at home and abroad. The Scholarships Department works to create a link between the university and the universities of other countries of the world, thus achieving the university’s objectives of sending its employees from teaching assistants and lecturers, by obtaining the scientific degrees for which they are being sent, and granting them scientific and practical experiences that qualify them to be used as members of the university teaching corps. The administration also makes the necessary procedures to deliver what the scholarship student needs to his college, as well as what colleges need to deliver to their scholarship .. and follow-up on that until it is issued in the form of an administrative decision if necessary, as in cases of scholarship extension, changing the scholarship university, changing specialization, scientific trips, attending conferences.
