About the Unit:

The Academic Advising Unit plans, coordinates, and supervises the academic advising process at the college. The advising responsibility lies with a unit supervisor appointed by the dean, along with coordinators designated by department heads. All faculty members act as academic advisors, collaborating with the university's Academic Advising Administration.

Unit Objectives:

Assist new students in adapting to university life through orientation programs that introduce the university, its supporting deanships, the college, and its departments.
Help students choose suitable majors based on their capabilities and interests, aligned with labor market needs.
Support and encourage high-achieving and talented students to maximize their potential in fields matching their scientific interests.
Monitor academically struggling students and help solve their academic issues while providing guidance to improve their learning outcomes.
Support students with special needs in achieving psychological and social adjustment and academic success during their university journey.
Raise awareness among students about academic regulations.
