About the program:
The Higher Diploma in Environmental Sciences - Vegetation Track targets bachelor graduates in related disciplines, to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which include environmental development, protection and preservation. In addition, this program will provide graduates with a professional competitive advantage to join jobs related to environmental fields, in particular
related to vegetation.
Program Goals :
Enhancing the role of the Faculty of Science at Tabuk University in qualifying graduates with skills and capabilities that meet the needs of the labor market.
Managing and controlling vegetation, applying positive behaviors, and developing the necessary procedures to solve vegetation problems.
Enhancing habitats, preserving and developing forests, pastures and vegetation in general, and preserving them through sustainable management.
Combating desertification, halting and rehabilitating land degradation, and reducing biodiversity loss.
Knowledge of the composition of the vegetation cover in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in particular the Tabuk region, and its medical, economic and environmental importance.
Achieving a balance between human needs and the sustainability of the earth's resources.
Program Structure:
Hours: 30 credit hours
Duration of study: one academic year (two semesters)
Study system: academic courses and field training

Program admission requirements:
Obtaining a bachelor's degree in science, in disciplines related to environmental and biological sciences, from the University of Tabuk or any other university recommended by the Ministry of Education.
The applicant obtained at least a grade of (good).
