Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the University of Tabuk, Prof. Abdullah bin Mufreh Al-Dhiabi, and in the honoring ceremony of the College of Science for the distinguished for the academic year 1442 AH, which was held today, Tuesday, Muharram 30, 1443 AH, the Biology Department was honored as the best department in the College of Science for the year 1442 AH. The award was received by His Excellency Dr. Omar Salem Bahtab, the head of the department and the current Vice Dean of Development and Quality for Development, who in turn congratulated all the members of the department for this deserved honor and thanked them for the efforts made to reach this achievement.​
