The Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit is responsible for the following tasks:

1. Developing and implementing a quality assurance plan in the college.
2. Developing and implementing programs to promote a culture of quality in the college.
3. Participating in providing the required data and information for planning, developing, and evaluatin​​g plans and programs in the college.
4. Participating in the preparation and implementation of the college's strategic plan.
5. Implementing local and international academic accreditation systems, controls, procedures, and standards, and monitoring their continuous implementation in the college.
6. Verifying the application of quality assurance and academic accreditation systems, controls, and standards in educational, administrative, organizational, and technical areas, and monitoring their continuous implementation in the college.
7. Preparing a comprehensive guide for quality assurance and academic accreditation in the college, considering leading local and international experiences.
8. Striving for the college to obtain and maintain local and international academic accreditation, applying quality standards and requirements in educational, administrative, organizational, and technical areas.
9. Continuously monitoring distinguished experiences in quality assurance and academic accreditation, including policies, systems, controls, standards, tools, and technologies used, and preparing reports with developmental suggestions for the college.
10. Recommending institutions, universities, and colleges suitable for collaboration, alliance, and partnership in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
11. Recommending specialized centers in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation that can contribute expertise and services for the college to achieve academic accreditation.
12. Recommending suitable academic accreditation bodies for the college after in-depth study and balancing between all available alternatives in light of the college's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
13. Proposing performance evaluation criteria and tools for educational and administrative units in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation, and monitoring their accreditation.
14. Continuously monitoring the performance of educational and administrative units in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation, preparing reports, and including developmental proposals.
15. Proposing the construction of a comprehensive database for quality assurance and academic accreditation, entering necessary data, processing it, and continuously updating it.
16. Participating in the development of standards, tools, and mechanisms for performance evaluation and achievement measurement for the college.
17. Coordinating with the Development and Quality Deanship at the university to enable the college to achieve high levels in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
18. Submitting reports to the Development and Quality Deanship on all activities and achievements of the college in the field of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
19. Reviewing matters referred by the College Dean to the unit, including relevant transactions and any additional tasks assigned through the authorized deputy.
