The Strategic Planning and Partnerships Unit is responsible for the following tasks:

1. Overseeing the preparation, updating, and development of the college's strategic plan (vision, mission, strategic objectives.
2. Compiling the executive plan report for the college, ensuring its alignment with the university's strategic plan, and regularly monitoring its implementation.
3. Ensuring alignment between operational strategic performance indicators and the university's strategic and operational plan.
4. Preparing performance measurement reports to assess the achievements of the plan.
5. Creating quarterly reports to monitor the implementation of the college's strategic plan, subject to approval by the Dean or Deputy Dean.
6. Preparing the annual report highlighting the college's achievements in all areas.
7. Supervising the preparation of the operational budget estimates, ensuring their direct alignment with the strategic goals of the university and the college's executive plan.
8. Contributing to the development of a human resources development plan for all university staff categories.
9. Providing and analyzing statistics, including student, faculty, and staff numbers, for all entities within or outside the university, and establishing and improving mini-databases.
10. Contributing to the preparation of institutional studies that aid in the development of higher education and provide solutions to challenges faced by the university, including labor market needs and hiring studies, graduation and attrition rates, predicting student and faculty numbers, university capacity, etc.
11. Undertaking any tasks related to the activities of the Strategic Planning Committee concerning the university's strategic planning.
12. Archiving all committee work, such as minutes and others, and providing the Dean of the college with a copy.
13. Reviewing topics referred by the Dean of the college to the unit, handling related transactions, and any other tasks delegated to the unit through the designated representative.​
