The idea of the chair arose under the directives and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk, to be a distinguished and reference research chair concerned with developing, supporting and promoting disease diagnosis, detection of its causes and practical application of knowledge at the University of Tabuk to contribute to its treatment. To have local, regional and global leadership so that the opportunity is available for university employees, including academics, specialists and other members of the community to participate in research activities and benefit from the services and results of this chair's research, provided that the field of work of the chair is to use modern technologies in diagnosing diseases and contribute to their treatment and Training and providing distinguished competencies with high ability and competence to use the latest medical diagnostic techniques in a manner that ensures the continuity of the chair's provision of its services to the local community in the Tabuk region and in the future to various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the world.
