Under the patronage of the Dean of the University College of Haql, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmad Zughaybi, the Student Activities Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Basic Sciences, organized an awareness lecture on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day titled “The Efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Combating Corruption in Light of Islamic Objectives and Saudi Vision 2030.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ismail Youssef Abu Shalfa on Monday, 27/5/1445 AH.

The lecture targeted faculty members and administrative staff of the college. It commenced with an introduction to the concept of corruption from both linguistic and terminological perspectives. It also addressed several key themes, including the Islamic ruling on corruption in light of the objectives of Islamic law, the different forms, causes, and consequences of corruption, and its impact on individuals, families, society, and the state. Particular emphasis was placed on the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to combat corruption-related crimes in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and its strategic objectives.
