Haql University College was established based on the Higher Education Council Decision No. 23/48/1429, issued in its 44th session on 21/10/1427 AH, which included the restructuring of the Girls' Health Sciences College in Tabuk and its affiliation administratively, financially, and academically with the University of Tabuk. This decision was approved by the Royal Directive in telegram No. 5088/MB, dated 7/8/1432 AH, as part of the royal directives to expand the establishment of colleges across various provinces in the Kingdom. The college includes several academic departments offering bachelor’s degrees for male and female students, such as the Department of Computer Science, the Department of Languages and Translation, the Department of Biology, the Department of Management Information Systems, and the Department of Basic Sciences (which does not offer a degree). Additionally, the Applied College in Haql provides diploma programs, including Diplomas in Human Resources, Networks, Environmental Studies, and Programming and Computer Science.
