The E-Services Unit is one of the pivotal units at the Research and Consulting Institute at the University of Tabuk. It plays a fundamental role in supporting digital transformation, developing the technical infrastructure, and enhancing the efficiency of electronic service delivery to beneficiary entities.
The Unit supervises the development of the Institute’s electronic services system and applies the approved regulations and instructions in the field of information technology and digital services, ensuring quality performance and operational continuity.
It also supervises the Institute’s network, technical devices, systems, and software, in coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology, to ensure technical integration and protect the digital infrastructure.
The Unit oversees the management, updating, and continuous development of the Institute’s website, in a manner that reflects the Institute’s institutional identity, enhances its digital presence, and facilitates access to its services.
It follows up on the implementation of service automation plans and the transformation of operational procedures into electronic platforms, contributing to improved work efficiency and an enhanced beneficiary experience.
The Unit is also responsible for supervising the handling of complaints and feedback related to electronic services, and for improving technical performance and responsiveness to user requirements.
It undertakes the preparation and follow-up of participants’ contracts for paid programs and services electronically, in coordination with the relevant entities, to ensure the integrity of technical and organizational procedures.
The Unit is committed to cybersecurity standards, data protection, information confidentiality, and the application of best practices in managing systems and digital services.
It prepares periodic reports on the performance of electronic services, usage levels, and completion rates, and submits them to senior management to support decision-making.
The Unit also carries out any other tasks assigned to it within its scope of specialization, in a manner that supports the Institute’s digital and strategic objectives.
