The Administrative Affairs and Follow-up Unit is one of the main organizational units at the Research and Consulting Institute at the University of Tabuk. It plays a pivotal role in developing and following up on the implementation of administrative policies and procedures, and ensuring institutional compliance across all units of the Institute.
The Unit works to coordinate work procedures with the various administrative units and follow up on their implementation after approval, thereby enhancing performance efficiency and organizational discipline.
The Unit is also responsible for preparing periodic follow-up reports, analyzing their results, discussing them with senior management, and proposing corrective actions to address areas of deficiency and improve performance levels.
It undertakes the preparation and updating of follow-up databases, monitors operational observations and deviations, and ensures that they are addressed in a systematic and continuous manner.
The Unit contributes to preparing periodic and annual reports on follow-up outcomes and submitting them to the Dean of the Institute to support decision-making.
It supervises the follow-up of employees’ administrative affairs related to attendance, departure, leaves, and job obligations, in accordance with approved regulations.
The Unit also preserves and archives data and information related to the Institute’s staff, ensuring their confidentiality and the integrity of their handling.
It participates in studying the Institute’s needs in terms of positions, specializations, and qualifications, in support of effective workforce planning.
The Unit prepares administrative decisions related to assignments, transfers, secondments, deductions, and disciplinary actions, and submits them to the competent authorities for approval.
It also follows up on employees’ regular and emergency leave procedures and organizes them in a manner that ensures business continuity.
The Unit prepares job performance evaluation reports for official employees, in accordance with approved regulations and instructions.
Furthermore, the Unit contributes to promoting a culture of institutional discipline and job commitment, and raising awareness of administrative regulations and instructions among the Institute’s staff.
It also works to develop electronic follow-up mechanisms and smart reporting tools, thereby improving the efficiency of internal control and supporting digital transformation in administrative procedures.
