The Consulting Services Unit is one of the specialized units at the Research and Consulting Institute at the University of Tabuk. It plays a key role in planning, organizing, and implementing consulting services, and in transforming academic and knowledge-based expertise into practical solutions that support decision-making.

The Unit works to prepare and follow up on the implementation of operational plans for consulting services, identify the knowledge, human, and material capabilities available within the University, and utilize them efficiently to serve beneficiary entities.

The Unit is also responsible for continuously studying the needs of government, private, and community sectors, analyzing their requirements, and developing consulting services that align with their priorities and challenges.

It follows up on the implementation of consulting activities, ensures the quality of their outputs, and evaluates their performance in accordance with approved professional indicators and standards.

The Unit contributes to reviewing accreditation reports and beneficiary evaluations, analyzing their results, and utilizing them to develop future consulting services.

It also supervises the development of consulting business models, service delivery methods, and consulting programs implemented or supervised by the Institute.

The Unit prepares periodic and analytical reports on the performance of consulting services and submits them to senior management to support planning and continuous improvement.

It is also responsible for preparing comprehensive annual reports on the implemented consulting programs and projects, in cooperation with relevant entities inside and outside the Institute.

The Unit is committed to complying with approved policies and regulations and carrying out any other tasks assigned to it within its scope of specialization.

It also contributes to building networks of experts and consultants from inside and outside the University, thereby enhancing the diversity of specializations and improving the quality of services provided.

The Unit works to develop knowledge databases for consulting projects and to document best practices and successful experiences.

It seeks to anticipate future needs and provide innovative solutions that support the Institute’s competitiveness and the sustainability of its services.
