The Education and Training Unit is one of the main units at the Research and Consulting Institute at the University of Tabuk. It plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing educational and training programs, as well as building human capacity, in a manner that contributes to meeting the needs of beneficiary entities and the requirements of the labor market.
The Unit works to prepare proposals for academic and training programs and conduct the necessary studies for their development, in cooperation with the relevant entities inside and outside the University, ensuring their alignment with approved academic and professional standards.
The Unit is also responsible for developing improvement plans for the programs offered, following up on updating their content and methods of delivery, thereby enhancing the quality of educational and training outcomes.
It coordinates with Financial Affairs to prepare estimated budgets for programs, follow up on the related documents, and organize collection and deposit processes through the approved accounts.
The Unit supervises the preparation and maintenance of records and files related to the programs, and documents all relevant data and documents, ensuring governance and ease of reference.
It contributes to preparing periodic and annual reports on implemented and completed programs, analyzing their results and indicators, and submitting them to senior management to support continuous improvement.
The Unit also prepares proposed budgets for future programs and follows up on their approval in accordance with the approved official procedures.
It follows up on the implementation of programs according to the approved timelines, ensures compliance with the specified conditions and standards, and takes corrective actions when needed.
The Unit is also responsible for preparing the justifications for disbursing entitlements and costs associated with the programs, and following up on their approval in coordination with the relevant entities.
The Unit is committed to ensuring that all its activities are aligned with approved policies and strategic plans, as well as relevant rules and regulations.
It also completes administrative transactions related to training and educational programs and follows them up until completion in accordance with official procedures.
