About the Unit

The Biodiversity Genomic Unit is a specialized research platform within the Faculty of Science at the University of Tabuk, dedicated to studying biodiversity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through advanced environmental and applied research. The Unit integrates modern molecular and analytical technologies to support conservation and environmental sustainability.

The Unit actively promotes local and international research partnerships, contributing to the development of joint research initiatives and strengthening national research capacity in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

To become a national reference center in biodiversity research and environmental conservation, contributing to sustainable development and enhancing the University’s research standing regionally and internationally.

To support scientific research in biodiversity and environmental sciences by providing an integrated research environment, empowering researchers and students, and fostering scientific collaboration that serves national priorities and environmental sustainability.
