His Excellency the Vice President of the University Branches Prof. Abdul Qadir Al-Hamiri visited the University College in Tayma, within the framework of his happiness program to visit the university colleges of the branches, and to hold meetings with college leaders and the teaching and administrative staff in them, and the meeting dealt with a number of topics that would improve the educational process, improve educational outcomes, develop students ’knowledge and life skills, and discuss The activities of faculty members and directing them to serve the community and find solutions to educational and academic problems, whether in the college, by activating programs and enrichment activities to develop students' skills, and to activate support education programs for struggling students. His Excellency praised the college’s efforts in this aspect, as the rate of improvement of defaulting students as a result of activating supportive education reached more than 53% for male students and 43% for female students, and the statements of His Excellency the Minister of Education regarding what international tests revealed regarding the students 'poor reading comprehension, and the role of university colleges' participation in proposals and programs to address the reading comprehension of students, whether in college or public education, were discussed.
His Excellency then discussed the examination procedures in the faculty, and emphasized the importance of tests as one of the most important aspects of the educational process to measure the success of the objectives of educational programs, especially if they have the qualities of a good test such as the diversity of questions and their grading from ease to difficulty and taking into account individual differences, and the need to adhere to the test rules to achieve its goals, as well as His Excellency made a field tour that included a visit to the examination committees, laboratories, the Environmental Studies Unit, the cafeteria and the new college buildings, during which he met with the engineers of the implementing company and discussed with them the implementation stages and urged them to speed up completion with the required standards and specifications.​​​​
