Educational Affairs Unit:

Objectives:

  • Providing educational and academic services after students are accepted into the college.
  • Developing the academic performance of the college and the units affiliated with the agency.
  • Achieving positive communication between the college and society.
  • Achieving professional growth for faculty members.

Unit tasks:

-       Educating new students about all the requirements for university studies, including attendance at lectures and the percentage of absence permitted, and setting a clear mechanism for this at the beginning of each semester.

-       Follow up on the process of registering, deleting and adding to the courses of the various departments.

-       Considering all cases of equivalency received by the college and submitting them to the scientific departments for broadcast.

-       Study cases of apology and postponement received by the college.

-       Follow up on the preparation of study schedules in the college's scientific departments and the processes of entering them into the system.

-       Preparing schedules for periodic, midterm and final exams.

-       Studying cases of transfer to and from college.

-       Study all legal excuses presented by students and develop a mechanism for that.

-       Identifying students academically, especially those who are struggling, and developing the necessary plans to help them complete their graduation requirements on time.

-       Archive all incoming and outgoing transactions for the unit.

-       Follow up on the schedules of registered students who do not have a study schedule and are not burdened.
