Its functions

 

  1.   Proposing programs developed after studying (Masters) in Sharia and regulations.

  2.   Proposing principles of admission to graduate studies, their implementation, and supervision.

  3.   Proposing postgraduate courses, modifications or substitutions that occur to them, or to programs.

  4.   Establish descriptions of the prescribed materials, their symbols, and their previous requirements.

  5. Study the periodic reports provided by the scientific departments in the college.

  6.   Consider what the college council or the dean refers to it to study and express an opinion.

  7.   Reviewing the availability of a sufficient number of faculty members (including associate professors and professors) to cover graduate studies programs, and submitting appropriate proposals to His Excellency the Dean of the College.

  8.   Study the stability of faculty members in the past five years as a condition for creating a master's program.

  9.   Providing curriculum vitae for faculty members in each department as a condition for creating a master's program.

  10.   The committee sets the goals of the programs and the extent of the Saudi society's need for them.

  11.   Studying the importance of the programs and the rationale for their presentation, while comparing them with the programs taught in the corresponding universities inside and outside the Kingdom in the field of specialization.

  12.   Nominating supervisors and discussion committees for graduate students' research.

  13. Recommending that the test results be approved by the College Board.

  14.   - What works he finds during implementation.
