A message of community participation in the College of Design and Art

The college seeks to instill the principles of citizenship and social responsibility for university students, graduates and employees to develop experiences, transfer knowledge and contribute to creating strong societies by creating an integration between academic life, volunteer services and community partnerships.

Objectives:

1. Achieving community participation through cooperation between societies, organizations, governmental and non-governmental institutions and members of the local community.
2. Encouraging the self and voluntary efforts of wishing members of the university and society to expand the base of community participation and cooperation in community service.
3. Study the needs of the local community and the institutions concerned with the university’s interests and develop a plan for employing the university’s resources to serve the local community, and the university’s participation in implementing projects that serve this community.
4. Support university educational activities and work to implement them in order to develop students' personality, introduce them to their duties and obligations, initiate effective contributions to serve the public good, provide them with teamwork skills in cooperation, benefit from skills and experiences, and enhance the spirit of participation to achieve the desired goals.
5. Spreading awareness of the culture of quality and the importance of social participation and work, developing a sense of national belonging, society and the homeland, and achieving commitment to preserving its resources.​
