Peer Review Policy
The Peer Review process at the Saudi Medical Journal for Students (SMJS) is a double-blinded system (the reviewers do not know the name of the authors, and the authors do not know who reviewed their manuscript).
To ensure that SMJS publishes only articles of the highest standard, peer-review is done by at least two experts (peers) in that particular area of research (Academics, Clinicians, or Researchers).

Authors are required to revise their articles during this process. The final article selection for publication is made by the SMJS Editorial Board once the review and revision process is completed.
Accepting an article into the review process does not constitute a guarantee of publication.
