Scientific Chairs Unit

The Scientific Chairs Unit is one of the distinguished academic activities. It is a permanent or temporary cash grant donated by an individual, a company, an institution, or legal personality to fund research or an academic program at the university. The scientific chair is headed by one of the specialized professors well-known by his scientific excellence, leading expertise, and good international reputation.

Services of the unit:

• Participating in setting and implementing the marketing and strategic plans of the Scientific Chairs Unit.
• Marketing the university’s capabilities and resources represented by faculty members to naturalize scientific chairs at the university.
• To be the liaison party between the donator and the supervisor of scientific chairs at the university.

Tasks of the unit:

• Supervising the scientific chairs’ outcomes.
• Conducting studies and statistics related to scientific chairs.
• Initiating a database of scientific chairs and updating it periodically.
• Preparing periodic and annual reports on scientific chairs in coordination with supervisors of scientific chairs.​
