About Center

AIST resulted from merging two other centers at UT, SNCS and IIRC, in 2013. SNCS, the Sensor Networks and Cellular Systems (SNCS) Research Center, was created in 2011 through support from the Ministry of Education. IIRC, the Industrial Innovation and Robotics Center, was created in 2018 by the University of Tabuk.


Vision

AIST aspires to be the leading AI and sensing technologies research and development hub in the province of Tabuk.

Message

AIST aims to integrate AI and sensing technologies to provide solutions that meet the needs of governmental, public, and private sectors in the vital areas of the Saudi economy.

• devise integrated AI and sensing technologies solutions that contribute to efficiency and sustainability


Center Manager

AIST pursues innovative research and development on artificial intelligence and sensor technologies and their applications in areas that directly benefit the Saudi society. As members of AIST, this pursuit is both our aim and priority. We are passionate about creating and harnessing the technological advances that contribute to enhancing the quality of life, resource sustainability, and economic prosperity consistently with the Saudi Vision 2030. We collaborate with eminent researchers from around the globe to forge lasting mutual benefits that far exceed individual contributions.
