الاهتمامات البحثية

My passion for Cancer research appeared after I joined a CSIR institution CIMAP after completing my masters The institution is mostly dedicated for medicinal and aromatic plant research and there I found many plants which were useful for cancer research then I started my research on medicinal plants and phytomolecules and their effect on cancer cell-lines My current research focuses on the anticancer and antioxidative phytomolecules There are many antioxidants available in the nature which themselves act as anticancer agents or they reduce the side effect of anticancer drugs with no or very less toxicity towards normal cells Currently I am working on the in-vitro and in-silico studies of known and novel antioxidants and anticancer phytomolecule to find out the antioxidants which can be used as anticancer agent or in combination of anticancer agents In future I am interested to carry out same research and want to study the molecules for their anticancer and antioxidant properties using advanced methods I have some experience on in-vivo studies as well using small rodents I am now learning new tools of Bioinformatics for in-silico studies of my in-vitro and in-vivo results as well
