Dr Shahd Alfadhli, is a associated professor in theoretical physics at the University of Tabuk She completed her PhD at Loughborough Univeristy, United Kingdom, in 2019 During her doctoral research she focused on studying the energy gap characterization in nano-carbon materials such as graphene using computational quantum mechanics approach Dr Shahd joined 5 research projects as a co-investigator, and led 3 research projects as principle investigator In addition, she published 21 research papers in peer-reviewed journals that are specializes in the field material science in general Most of her publications focuses on environmental applications of nano material, such as:* biomass for electro-optical applications and carbon capturing techniques, * nanoparticles as multifunctional sensors towards environmental monitoring and greenhouse conditions in agricultural applications
