Dr Eid S Alatawi is an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Tabuk He has a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Carleton University, Ontario Canada In addition, he received his MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from OttawaU university, Ontario Canada, and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran Saudi Arabia
Dr Eid has a diverse experience in academia, industry He worked in Saudi Aramco in the supporting Engineering department, and in KACST as assistant research professor working on applied industrial research projects He run different duties with different roles Dr Eid was involved in establishing several industrial projects with internal and external stakeholders and partner companies In addition, he has several publications and manuscripts in the areas of fluid flow, nanofluid, multiphase flow, and heat transfer researches His research interests include Fluid flow, nanofluid, single phase and two-phase fluid, and heat transfer Also, numerical and mathematical modeling, CFD including turbulence models, large eddy simulation (LES), vortex methods, and eddy interaction model (EIM) Fluid flow including particle-laden flows and heat transfer in relevance to the energy and environment applications, eg, Energy efficiency, Particle deposition, Outdoor and indoor air quality
