Associate Professor in human nutrition at undergraduate, and I am particularly involved with teaching of nutrition, but also have expertise in other areas of nutrition including autistic nutrition, sport nutrition and nutritional balancing Alongside my teaching work I am actively involved in research, especially that related to nutritional disease and public health

Physical activities and nutritional status among children with autism spectrum disorders in Saudi Arabia Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition of unknown aetiology which is usually diagnosed in the first 3 years of life In recent years the incidence of ASD has increased significantly Restricted diets and inadequate nutrient intake as well as lower level of physical activities of children with ASD have been reported Several studies have linked reduced intake of some nutrients and varying levels of physical activity behavior with ASD There is a little research done on this topic and findings are still inconsistent, therefore, this study aim Identify physical activity behaviors and nutritional status of ASD children living in Tabuk city, Saudi Arabia
