About

The Department of Computer Science, both male and female, began with the establishment of the Community College in 1418 AH, and the department's programs were developed to suit the requirements of the labor market, as the department offers a qualifying program that grants a participant’s degree in the major of Computer Science.

Mission: In the Computer Science program, there are four semesters during which (20) courses are taught, with a total of (71) credit hours, theoretical and practical, through which the student acquires the skills of dealing with the computer system that qualifies him to enter the labor market in the fields of application design. Designing websites, managing database systems, supervising computer networks, in addition to data entry and secretarial work.

Objectives

1. Providing students with basic skills in the use of computers and its various applications.

2. Providing students with the technical skills for computer assembly and maintenance.

3. Providing students with the necessary skills to manage database systems.

4. Teaching students the skills of designing various application programs.

5. Teaching the student the skills of web design and supervision.

6. Teaching the student the basics of managing computer networks.​
