Student Fund Services Benefits service The aid is a sum of money disbursed to regular Saudi university students or a Saudi mother if they have a specific circumstance and have the official papers confirming this circumstance, or the monthly stipend is suspended until the end of the statutory period for disbursing the stipend, provided that the amount of 500 riyals is disbursed only once in the fiscal year, and it can be repeated. Apply for aid in each financial year separately, provided that the student does not receive more than three aids throughout the duration of his studies at the university. Mechanism for requesting aid The student wishing to obtain a financial aid should contact the aid officials in the Student Fund Administration at the Deanship of Student Affairs, and submit the application by filling out the aid application form provided to him by the responsible employee in the administration. Requirements for receiving a subsidy 1. A copy of the student’s academic record. 2. The student must be regularly attending school at the time of submitting the aid application. 3. The student must be of good conduct and not have been subjected to any disciplinary punishment. 4. The aid should be directly to the student and not to support a family member. 5. A minimum of one calendar year has passed since the date of the last request for previous aid. 6. The reward must be lump sum. Loans The loan is a financial sum of 1,000 Saudi riyals given to regular university students to cover their personal needs or secure educational equipment, provided that it is deducted from the student’s monthly stipend at the rate of 250 Saudi riyals per month. Loan application mechanism A student wishing to obtain a loan must review the officials of the Student Fund Administration at the Deanship of Student Affairs, and submit the application by filling out a loan application form provided to him by the responsible employee in the administration. Requirements for receiving a subsidy 1. The student must be regularly attending school at the time of submitting the aid application. 2. The student must be of good conduct and not have been subjected to any disciplinary punishment. 3. The reward must be continuous. 4. The student’s cumulative GPA is not less than 2.5 out of 5. 5. The value of the loan does not exceed 1000 Saudi riyals. 6. The student must have completed a full semester of study when submitting the loan application. 7. The student cannot submit a new loan application until after the previous loan application has been paid. 8. The remaining period of the student’s study at the university must be sufficient to cover the required loan amount. Run students on the clock system It is a system for employing regular students in jobs within the university, provided that an amount of 10 Saudi riyals is spent per hour, provided that the number of hours does not exceed 50 hours per month. Mechanism for applying to the student operating system The student can go to the academic advisor at the college or go to the Student Fund Administration at the Deanship of Student Affairs. Application conditions 1. The student must be regularly enrolled in school at the time of submitting the application. 2. The student must be of good conduct and not have been subjected to any disciplinary punishment. 3. Priority in admission is given to students who are denied the award. 4. The student is not entitled to work in the employment program for more than 3 months during the academic year. 5. The student is not entitled to combine the aid with the student employment system. 6. The student is not entitled to work more than 50 hours in one month. 7. The hourly wage is 10 Saudi riyals. Student service centers It is the center concerned with providing textbooks, stationery, photocopying and printing services, and providing academic supplies in colleges at competitive prices. Mechanism for obtaining the service The student goes to the designated service center in each college. Reward services Issuing an ATM card ATM cards are distributed at the beginning of each academic year to new students, and delivery times are announced on the social media platforms of the Deanship of Student Affairs. Monthly bonus The monthly student stipend is paid to regular Saudi students or from a Saudi mother, amounting to 990 Saudi riyals for scientific and health colleges and 840 Saudi riyals for literary colleges. Conditions for receiving a monthly bonus 1. The application must not have passed the regular academic period. 2. The student’s cumulative GPA should not be less than 2 out of 5. Reward for excellence The excellence bonus is paid to regular Saudi students or to a Saudi mother if the student obtains a semester average of 4.50 for two consecutive semesters in one academic year. The amount of the bonus is 1,000 Saudi riyals. Disability allowance for students with disabilities A disability allowance is paid monthly to students with disabilities during their university studies, and the amount is determined by the Ministry of Social Affairs according to the student’s condition.
