Course Details
This  course  aims  to  introduce  the  students  to  embedded  system  design  and  applications,  synthesis  of microcontroller    systems,    including    hardware,    programming,    and    interfacing.    It    also    covers microcontroller  architecture  and  peripherals  basics,  microcontroller  parallel  interfacing  and  serial communication,  I/O techniques  requirements,  A/D   conversion, timing   and   interrupts.  Principles of instruction  set,  assembly  and  high  languages  programming.  In  this  course,  the  C  compiler  is  used  for programming. The 8-bit PIC  microcontroller will  be used as well to get the particularization of all theoretical concepts.
