Faculty of Pharmacy held a health awareness campaign for infectious diseases

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. / Ahmed Al-Jabri, and under the supervision of the Natural product and Alternative medicine Department, fifth year students in Faculty of pharmacy and in conjunction with the Health Awareness Department in Health Affairs in Tabuk city on Friday, 20 Jumada Al-Akhir 1441 AH in one of the commercial complexes (Al-Makan Mall), organized an awareness campaign Health information about some infectious diseases and ways of their prevention. The campaign aimed at educating Saudi citizens about different methods of transmitting infection for some infectious diseases such as: seasonal influenza and hepatitis. Moreover, they provided valuable information about various means to avoid infection with these diseases such as the use of various sterilization methods. Besides, they provided information about the available vaccinations for these diseases and the optimum timing of their use and the instructions used to address them. The campaign also included an awareness corner for the Corona virus and another corner to familiarize Saudi citizens with the vision and mission of the faculty of Pharmacy, the graduate working fields and the various activities carried out by the faculty and its role in health education and providing treatment services to citizens.
