Community College Joins the American

Association of Community Colleges (AACC)

Under the kind patronage and encouragement of the Rector of the University of Tabuk, Professor Abdul Aziz bin Saud Alenzy, and the assiduous guidance of the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammad bin Mfarij Alhawiti, Community College has recently joined The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). The initiative comes in the framework of the strategic plan of the college and the University of Tabuk, which includes the need to take initiatives for cooperation with prestigious educational institutions, both internally and externally, in order to enhance its academic and administrative performance.

It is noteworthy that The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) is mainly concerned with promoting the exchange of academic expertise, facilitating collaboration among AACC staff, Providing guidance and support to students, Developing curriculum and organizing several events and conferences annually for the deans and academic staff of Community Colleges world-wide.  The Association, moreover, has several experts in the field of education, industry and commerce who help to develop and improve educational outcomes of its members.

The American Association of Community Colleges is officially recognized by the American Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), which is one of the most important and effective institutions, as well as sponsoring the 21st-Century Initiative of the community colleges in the United States, as well as similar colleges worldwide. This initiative aims at exchanging most contemporary teaching practices, promoting mutual understanding between  different cultures, and expanding opportunities for students to get the skills and capabilities needed to comply with the competitive soul of twenty first century.
