"Nurses: A Force for Change: Care Effective, Cost Effective Improving Health and Well Being"

The Department of Nursing, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Tabuk organized a health education regarding “Diabetes Mellitus” which was held in Al Maharajan Health Center Tabuk Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The purpose of the activity is to promote and participate in International Nurses day with the following objectives; to facilitate the volunteerism among faculty, staff and students; to establish initial partnership of local institutions in Tabuk Region and to facilitate community services. Mr. Ahmad Al Balawi, Lecturer from the Department of Nursing in University of Tabuk discussed the important aspects regarding the key roles in preventing and management of Diabetes Mellitus. The said event was participated by the health care workers and patients from the community. Moreover, health services were provided to the participants such as blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring.
