The establishment of the Strategic Planning Unit came as a desire to achieve strategic planning that helps develop work and outputs in the agency. And based on the circular of the Vice President for Development and Quality No. 39/052/37006 dated 12/18/1439 AH. Administratively, it is associated with the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
1- Supervising the preparation, implementation, updating and development of the strategic plan (vision - mission - strategic objectives) of the agency. 2- Preparing the agency’s annual executive plan report and its suitability with the university’s strategic plan, and following it up periodically. 3- Full alignment between the agency’s strategic plan, the university’s strategic plan, and the strategic plans of the agencies affiliated with the agency. 4- Ensuring the alignment of the operational strategic performance indicators with the strategic performance indicators of the university plan. 5- Ensuring the alignment of the operational strategic performance indicators with the strategic performance indicators of the agency’s plan. 6- Preparing performance measurement reports to measure what has been accomplished from the plan. 7- Contribute to preparing a human resources development plan for all categories of the agency's employees. 8- Providing and analyzing the necessary statistics, which may include: faculty members, numbers of students, scholarships, professors who received scientific promotions, and employees. 9- Performing any tasks related to the activities of the Strategic Plan Committee in terms of strategic planning for the agency.
