معمل أبحاث فيزياء الجسيمات

نبذة عن المعمل

أنشىء معمل فيزياء الجسيمات مع بداية التعاون الدولي مع مركز KEK في اليابان حيث جامعة تبوك هي عضو في التجربة Belle منذ سنة 2011م. تجدر الإشارة أن تجربة Belle (1999-2010م) في مركز KEK، باليابان، هي تجربة قد ساعدت على تفسير انعدام ضد-المادة في الكون.

واعتُبِرت Belle، و التي أخذت البيانات على المعجل KEKB، كمساهم رئيسي لإحراز جائزة نوبل في الفيزياء لعام 2008. المعجل KEKB  طور وأصبح يسمى المعجل SuperKEKB  وهذا لزيادة احصاءات التصادم 40 مرة  عن المعجل KEKB مما يتطلب كذلك  تطوير التجربة Belle إلى التجربة Belle IIكما انضم للمعمل دكاترة ينشطون في الفيزياء الطبية و الفيزياء النووية لما للمعل امكانيات حسابية لمحاكات التفاعلات النووية وتاثير الاشعاع على DNA . كما للمعمل مصادر أشعة سينية استعملت لدراسة تأثير محلول جسيمات النانو على الاشعاع في مجال الطب النووي.

  • الأدرع الواقية من الاشعاع النووي المصنوعة بمواد جديدة شفافة
  • محاكاة التفاعلات الفيزيائية والكيميائية لدراسة تأثير الاشعاع على DNA والنسيج الحيوي.
  • دراسة تأثير محلول جسيمات النانو خاصة، TiO2، على الأشعة لتعزيز علاج السرطان بالإشعاع.
