* Dr Hassan Abdeldaiem was born in Qena, Egypt in 1976 * He received the BSc, MSc, PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Assiut University, Egypt, in 1999, 2004, and 2012, respectively * In 2000, he was with the Electrical Engineering Department, Assiut University as a demonstrator From 2004 to 2012, he became an assistant lecturer at the same department * From 2008 to 2010, he was with the department of Environmental and Life Sciences, Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Japan as a researcher * From 2012 to 2015, he became an assistant professor at the Electrical Engineering Department, Assiut University * From 2015 until now, he was with the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia as an assistant professor * His research activities include digital calculation of electric fields, partial-discharge analysis, and assessment in electric power equipments, and simulation and modeling of the high voltage phenomena
