Dr Mo’awia Mukhtar Hassan Abdalla, a Professor of Medical Entomology and Parasitology at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Tabuk He received his B Sc in Zoology from the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1994, and his M Sc In Zoology (Medical Entomology) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1999 Also, he obtained his Ph D in Zoology (Medical Entomology and Parasitology) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2004 He joined the University of Tabuk in October 2017 He taught several courses of Biology in different Sudanese universities and the University of Tabuk He received many awards and research grants from National and International funding bodies He has several published articles in peer-review journals, abstract books of conferences, and books His research interest is different topics on the vector and vector-borne diseases with emphasis on biology, ecology, and behavior of phlebotomine sandflies and mosquito vectors as well as the epidemiology of leishmaniasis and mosquito-borne diseases
