Dr Zahid Hameed Siddiqui did his PhD in the year 2011 from Hamdard University He is an Environmentalist and Plant Biotechnologist his area of research interest includes environmental pollution, conservation biology, and secondary metabolite production-based studies He has nine years of teaching and research experience in plant biology He credits many research papers, reviews, and book chapters in journals and books of national and international repute He co-authored a book entitled Basics of Environmental Science He actively participated and presented his work in International and National seminars and conferences He worked as a Principle Investigator and Co-investigator in university-funded research projects Moreover, he is actively engaged to develop research facilities at the University of Tabuk Dr Siddiqui received many prestigious awards including CSIR-Senior Research Fellow 2010, Govt of India and NESA Environmentalist of the Year Award 2020
