Dr Manimurugan S is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head in Scientific Research and Consultancy Unit, Industrial Innovation & Robotics Center, Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, University of Tabuk, Tabuk City, Saudi Arabia He has 14 years of Teaching and Research experience which has helped him gain immense knowledge in myriad fields of Computer Science and Engineering
He has received his Bachelor’s degree from Anna University, Chennai, India, Master’s degree from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India, both first-class and a PhD degree from Anna University, Chennai, India with 90 CGPA out of 10 in the course work examinations
He has published ample research papers in several International, National Journals and International Conferences which are indexed by ISI, Thomson Reuters/Clarivate Analytics, Scopus, and IEEE In addition, he has served as a guest editor and reviewer for various National and International Journals such as Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, Bentham Science, etc,
He had received many grants and patents from various government bodies such as the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, India, Ministry of Higher education Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
He is currently working (Research Areas) in Security, Internet of things, Image Processing, Context-Aware Systems, and Artificial Intelligence Besides, he is very much interested in Web Technology as well
He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a Senior Member of the IEEE He has organized and attended many IEEE Conferences, Seminars, Faculty Development Programs, Workshops of both National and International levels
He held various academic and research posts such as Principal In-charge, Head of the Department, Foreign Examiner and Indian Examiner for the PhD program in various Indian Universities, IEEE conference chair and Advisory committee, Exam Coordinator, Consultancy In-charge, ISTE In-charge, PG Campus Management System (CMS) Coordinator and Disciplinary Committee member, Council member of the University Website and ranking improvement, etc,
He has secured the best class award given by ACE (Association of Computer Engineers), Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to be University), India in 2011
