The main researcher of Research Project entitled " sterilization of palm date using non-thermal plasma" Funded by Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture 2021 In the this work, examine the impact of non-thermal plasma treatment on the different quality parameters of palm date fruit (microbial quality, physicochemical and structural properties) will studied We will examine the influence of non-thermal plasma to inhabit fungal pathogens, causing quantitative and qualitative losses of agricultural production both in the field and post-harvest Three diagnostic techniques (surface microdischarge, dielectric barrier discharge plasma and corona discharge plasma) will be herein used to understand the pathway responsible for the observed inhibitory effect Also, this work aims to non-thermal plasma usefulness in prolonging the shelf-life of palm date with minimized losses of valuable nutrients will be evaluated The study also deals with the efficiency of non -thermal plasma in inhibition the mycotoxins created by the fungus Also, the objective of this study is to develop a flexible thin layer of atmospheric pressure plasma in a sealed palm date package and to examine the ability of the plasma system to inactivate common foodborne pathogens inoculated into palm date The application of plasma treatment will be carried out on palm date, to promote a possible application of the developed method in agricultural practice
The main researcher of Research Project entitled " Extraction of medical plants’ compounds for the treatment of COVID-19" Funded by Deanship of Scientific Research, Tabuk University, KSA (2020) Therefore, the objectives of this study were to extract some molecule from two types of medical plant, ie Eucalyptus globulus L and Nigella sativa L to covid-19 treatment FT-IR and UV–vis spectrophotometer analyses will perform to study the structure of the extract compounds In this work, the molecular modeling, molecular docking and ADMET of the extract molecules will conduct for the treatment of COVID-19 In this work, extract molecules will study with the Homo and Lumo, conformational analysis, vibrational spectra for characterization The density functional theory- DFT(B3LYP)/6-311++G(d,p) method will use for optimizing of the geometrical parameters of extract compounds
