Prince Fahed Ibn Sultan thanks the Rector

Prince Fahed Ibn Sultan, the prince of Tabuk region, thanked the Rector Dr. Abdulaziz Ibn Saud Alanzy and the University employees on publishing the encyclopedia  of photographer documentary "Tabuk Encyclopedia".

This came in a letter of thanks received by the Rector of the University of Tabuk Dr. AbdulAzeez Ibn Soud Al-Enezi from prince Fahed Ibn Sultan after Dr. Al-Enezi had presented to his holiness a copy of the encyclopedia. The prince of Tabuk region hoped that the University continues publishing such encyclopedias, which in turn reveals the historical heritage, special position and ancient archaeological sites that Tabuk region full of. The price shows that such encyclopedias benefit researchers both inside and outside the kingdom.

The encyclopedia, which was supervised by the administration of public relations and media in the University includes five bookbinders where each bookbinder contains a hundred and fifty pages full of many images. The bookbinders are as follows:

First bookbinder: an introduction comprises Tabuk region across eras.

Second bookbinder: the archaeological sites.

Third bookbinder: nature and tourism along with their elements (desert, sea, valleys and mountains).

Forth bookbinder: the civilizational development and the economical constituents of the region, which includes: agriculture, manufacture, trade, health, education, sport, ……., etc.

Fifth bookbinder: social lifestyle, customs, traditions, life features of Tabuk region society.

It is worth to be mentioned that this project which emphasizes on photos where the associated explanatory explanation is positioned in the margins, which in turn presents a realistic expression of Tabuk region. As a matter of fact, such projects had not received their share of the specialized media projects in the past for the sake of activating their presence in all aspects and make them accessible to the reader through simplified fashion under the name of (Tabuk encyclopedia of documentary photographer).

In point of fact, this encyclopedia is the first photographer encyclopedia documenting the great history of Tabuk region along with its cities, positions and social and environmental structure and reflecting the development in all life aspects.
